When Daniel first arrived at the Aso SkyHawks Academy two years ago, he was a shy thirteen-year-old who loved basketball but didn’t know where to take that passion. He spent most evenings shooting hoops on a small community court in Gwagwalada, learning by watching older boys play and copying what he could from YouTube highlights.
His raw talent caught the attention of a SkyHawks coach during a community outreach camp. The coach invited him for an assessment weekend. Daniel was nervous, but he showed up with determination and a quiet confidence.
